The Birth of My Burrito

In 2011 in the heart of Bristol, opposite the Hippodrome, Graham and Esmeralda found themselves opening their very first restaurant. Inspired by the American giant, Chipotle, Graham uttered those fateful words to Esmeralda, "We can do that." And so, the journey began. 

The economy was still suffering in the aftershock of a major recession. Undeterred, they launched the restaurant, and with it came the "King of My Burrito" competition, a challenge to devour a colossal three-foot burrito in record time. Joe emerged victorious, devouring the mammoth burrito in a mere nine minutes, a testament to the fun-loving and dedicated crew that defined the early days. Find out more in our video.

A Signature Spice Blend

Then, there's the Chile De Arbol Hot Sauce, a sauce with personality, a fiery kick that sets it apart. It also won Gold at the Great Taste awards 2023 and was an early accolade, a sign of its promising journey.

As they say, the best is yet to come, with their brand new and growing range of Mexican Marinades, bringing the flavours of their restaurant to kitchens across the city.
