We bring the sauce to the table
We started My Burrito in Bristol city centre in 2011 and have been rolling fabulous wraps ever since.
We began bottling our customer’s favourite sauce in November 2020 at the start of the longest lock-down and added our marinade bags early in 2021 as we dipped in and out of various covid restrictions.
Esmeralda spent many weeks travelling across the south of the UK in 2021 visiting local businesses to see if they would take our products and we now have some 80 retailers from Cornwall to Cambridge!
Chipotle Sauce, is it for you?
If you are a brown sauce person, this is the sauce for you! It is the perfect companion to a sausage roll, is a bacon sandwich's best friend, great with eggs, used to make chipotle BBQ mayo for burgers or fish finger sandwiches or a personal favourite is a chicken thigh, marinated and cooked in a burger bun, sour cream, crisp lettuce and this sauce.
This is a sweet, slightly spicy sauce with a bit of smoke. Made using Morita chipotle chillies. These are smoked for less time, giving a fruitier flavour than a regular chipotle chilli. We use these delicious, smokey chillies to make a chilli adobo for the basis of our sauce.
This complex base of Mexican herbs and spices makes for an addictive addition to almost any dish and as it is completely Vegan, our customers have been using it in inventive ways, from an addition to spaghetti bolognese (we kid you not!) to being used as a backdrop to wraps & burgers of all kinds.

Mexican Marinade
Our marinade pouches are designed for you to add protein of your choice, marinade for as long as possible and roast, BBQ or stir-fry. A vegan daughter swears by tempeh, marinated for 2-3 days and then stir fried with the marinade; Chicken thighs, left for the same time and roasted or BBQ’d come out butter soft and deliciously spiced.
The best seller in our restaurant for meat eaters has always been our marinated roast chicken. We looked at the recipe and with a couple of minor tweaks, made the marinade vegan. We decided to put the wet marinade in a resealable pouch to help cut down the mess and the waste - simply open the bag, pop in whatever takes your fancy and stick it in the fridge, marinate for a good couple of days and then roast, stir-fry or bbq until your chosen protein or plant-based equivalent is cooked through.
